For space reasons I would like to replace my printer and scanner with an 'all in one'...cannot afford much so any advice please?

I looked into these just before Christmas because I'd noticed how much they'd dropped in price and fancied creating a bit of space in the office. All the reviews that I looked at talked about lack of print quality but I think if you care about photo printing then you need a dedicated printer anyway.
I thought the best all round I found was the £46 HP Photosmart C3180 (click here for a review) but I didn't go as far as researching the cost of ink, which might add to running costs. Canon has a good reputation for relatively low running costs and I also considered the Canon Pixma 210 (click here Pricerunner is good place to find prices and reviews, click here. ![]() |

I've got a Dell A920 all-in-one and have had it for a couple of years now.
The copying facility's excellent (black and white or colour), scanning can be achieved with great detail and clarity and the printing's good enough for every day and an occasional 1/2 A4 sized photo. I've scorned Dell inks as they're hugely expensive but the cheaper compatibles seem to be doing a great job. |
